the sinister invertebrates oppose
whoever speaks to them
and appoint themselves doorkeepers
of every knowledge system
stones lie to us
professing metaphor which could
never be expressed by
the hammer and chisel
it was said that
a whiff of sulfur
escaped from his body
as it merrily burned
fossilized flesh does not
give way but crumbles
under duress and becomes
just so much dust
